Local Story
To understand where we are we need to know where we have come from and where we would like to go as a community. The gathering and co-creating of the the Local Story from all of us is an important local possession.
There are three parts to the Local Story.
The Past Story
Looking back at the history of the place, involving the local historians going back as far as possible and then working our way forward to now. Discoveries in this area can then feed into the developing culture and local celebrations.
The Present Story
Keeping a narrative account and diary of the development of the local picture and Area Co-op as it develops. Thiis becomes a community record or archive.
The Future or Live Earth Stories
A collection of local stories and tales of how this area evolved in a wonderful sustainable direction. These stories can contain well thought out detail, ideas from elsewhere, fantasy and wonder. They are designed to be told live as well. They can grow from the storytelling aspects of the gatherings.
